NEW STUDIO
Posted by Kate on 04/11/09
We have moved into a new studio, with new fun ISO team members. Our New Location on New Cavendish Street is above an old school barber shop and smells like cinnamon apples. We have split the space up into sections. So I will now give you a written descriptive tour as I lack the time to invite everyone here and show you around.
Main Room
This is the money shot. Our bookshelves house many wondrous publications. Let just hope there is never a fire. You may be able to see a projector on the shelf, this lights the wall above the fireplace and you may find us playing C.O.D or some other PS3 game on here later in the evening, when work has tired us. Also depicted is the refreshment table, which is actually my old drawing desk with a new lease of life.
The Boys Room
Here is Jack's bike, Fuji Track frame red tyres and drop downs. On the left is Hans' desk, soon to be joined by a myriad of old TV's and VHS converters. Jack sits to the right, next to Henry the Hoover.
Major Desk
This is my desk, to the left is the PowerHaus which is where major films are edited, and collaborative work is executed, as more than one person can see the giant screen. The worlds largest Wacom pad is also incredibly useful when you have to draw digital stuff all day. On the right is my internet hub with paper work and filing overflowing as usual.
Kate's Room
This is my little section of the studio, so I can make mess in isolation, and yes there are bars on the window so you won't be able to break in. We bought a T-Card organiser, but we can't work out what to do with it so it just looks pretty until we get organised.
Cycle Time
This is my new bike, kindly built for me by 14 Bike Co. over the summer. It's totally out of this world. Hand made, and colour matched to the HeartsRevolution 10" vinyl which I eagerly handed over. It is chromed out everywhere else, except for a neon pink break cable and white grips, saddle and tyres.
Collection
This is my other desk, the mail table. Where I sort all my mail orders and admire my pen and pencil collection. It's great to have more space, the last place was totally miniscule in comparison.
Hans
Last but not least here is Hans and his bike, also Fuji Track frame, but majorly taped up and tailored to his every need. I'm sure he could tell you alot more about it than I can.
In a closing note I would like to thank everyone who came to the studio warming party, and Jago and Finn for fitting the amazing new floor. Also to Guy Archard who took these photos for us. He is amazing, you can see more of his work here.
