"Pictureplane combines all the burping, squeaking, farting synth sounds of your local DIY underground with r&b-tinged melodies and raw, expressive vocals"- PITCHFORK MEDIA

"Pictureplane sound is, broadly speaking, a kind of grotty, psychedelic and synth-heavy 4/4 that invites comparison with the likes of Black Dice, Spencer Clark and Teengirl Fantasy. As we've come to expect from Moross and previous Isomorph releases, the design is pretty special." - FACT

Pictureplane - 'Cyclical Cyclical (Atlantis)' from 'True Ruin Light Body' (Isomorphs Records) Named Single of the Week on Drowned In Sound

Art Directed by Kate Moross True Ruin Light Body Video Experiment

A collaboration between ISO founder Kate Moross, video alchemist Hans Lo and graphic designer Jack Featherstone. Pictureplane visited the studio early in the year during a tour with Health and was filmed doing a performance of the track. The video was then processed through multiple formats and sofwares, rotoscoped, layered and remixed to achieve the final result. As the song progresses video becomes more and more layered to echo the structure of the track, interplayed with runes and graphic icons from the sleeve artwork.
